BPMN Method and Style Training v6 Released

BPMN Method and Style Training v6 Released

Version 6 of Bruce Silver’s BPMN Method and Style training is now available in all delivery formats: web/on-demand, live-online, and live-onsite.  The new web/on-demand training uses the recently released Process Modeler for Visio version 6 (PM6) from itp commerce.   The live-online and live-onsite training offers a choice of this tool or Signavio.  The training content, exercises, and post-class certification are identical for all delivery formats.  Changes in the new training version include:

  • Part 3 – renamed BPMN Concepts and Method – spends more time on explaining BPMN’s most fundamental concepts and their importance for creating correctly structured models.
  • Leveraging the new PM6 model repository, the training explains how to model a reusable subprocess with Call Activity referencing an independent process definition.
  • Part 5 on Events discusses use of event subprocesses to model, for example, global message or error handlers.

The next Live-Online training is April 22-24, from 11am-4pm US EDT, which is 5pm-10pm CET.  Click here to register.  Also, a public 2-day class will be offered live in Milan on June 19-20, in conjunction with the BPM Forum there.  For more details see www.bpmforum.profesia.it.
